Elena joined MATT Architecture in early 2013 after completing her degree at the University of Edinburgh (ESALA) initially working on bespoke private residential projects across London.
Elena returned to Edinburgh in 2014 to complete her Diploma where her dissertation on alterity in Nicosia was nominated for the RIBA bronze medal, and her Diploma project, Bombay Bloom, was nominated for the urban design competition, Archiprix 2016.
Elena has previously worked for the British Council during the 2014 Venice Biennale and travelled to Florence in July 2016 with the RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship.
She returned to the practice in August 2016 and is currently involved in a range of residential and commercial projects across London.
