Dawit joined MATT Architecture in 2011 after completing his degree at the University of East London. He worked on a number of projects in this early stage, both residential and commercial, before returning to university to complete his studies.
Whilst at university he was nominated for a Design Museum award and received the Canary Wharf Travel Scholarship which supported travel and research in Indonesia. He additionally contributed to the NLA 'London 2050' think tank and exhibition.
He returned to the practice in January 2015 and is now involved in several large scale planning applications within Central London.
